There is a great number of ways to describe an action and e have verbs to thank for that. If you want to be able to tell someone what you are doing then you must master the usage of verbs. Verbs are words that describe a non-static occurrence, otherwise known as an action. There are many verbs but you need not worry because when learning anything new, always remember that chunking is your best friend.

To aid us in our quest of learning English, we shall learn about verbs. Primarily, verbs that start with N.

What exactly are verbs that start with N? Well, they come in a variety of different forms and meanings. For example, the word negotiate is a verb that starts with N. When you negotiate, you are trying to get a good deal out of a situation. Countries negotiate with the US in hopes that they will be able to exercise some level of sovereignty. You negotiate with your boss when you want a pay raise.

Your negotiations could end poorly if what you are asking for is negated. Negated is another of the verbs that start with N. If you are denied what you want then someone has negated your chance at happiness. Up until now, our examples have been pretty serious but that need not be the case.

There are verbs that start with N that aren’t serious business. For example, nestle, to nestle is to settle or lie comfortably into something. We all love to nestle into bed after a long hard day of work. Nestle is such a comforting word, that it was chosen to be the name of one of the biggest corporations in the world. You might have heard of the Nestle corporation due to their exploitative handling of water.
